I’m an insurance writer. For those like me who have both an editorial background and a career in insurance, that was a funny joke. I am both an insurance salesman who “writes” insurance polices, and I’m also a writer who composes blog posts about insurance topics.

I have decided that there’s a lot to talk about when it comes to insurance, and perhaps the conversation shouldn’t just be around the dinner table when grandpa gets to lamenting about Medicare and then somebody else’s got to bring up Obamacare to boot. If I can use my combination of life and health insurance knowledge along with two degrees in English and Writing to help boost discussions about insurance, to educate and inform, and to invigorate those topics, I will feel I’ve provided a valuable service to my readers.
